October 24, 2011:  Crop 2011 Apollo, US Northern Brewer, and US Golding leaf hops have been added to the site!

Cascade Pellet Hop

Alpha Acid: 5-8.5%

The Cascade is one of the original aroma hop varieties developed by Oregon State University. It is a hop that has been largely popularized by the craft brew industry. It is has the distinct, citrusy aroma that all other aroma types are compared to in craft brewing circles. Often used in IPAs, pale ales and porters. Substitutions: Centennial, Amarillo, Columbus.
